Focus on Christ

“The holiest Christians are not those most concerned about holiness as such, but whose minds and hearts and goals and purposes and love and hope are most fully focused on our Lord Jesus Christ.”

- J.I. Packer, Keep in Step with the Spirit (Grand Rapids, MI: Baker Books, 2005), 134.

  3. The heart of true spiritual…
warfare.Sometimes i want to run away into a woods ,a desert or a mountain to seek the lord, to wait for his dear presence…My incessant ability to focus on the evening news, in my sins,on my doubt and unbelief have brought me to a place of NO MORE OF THIS!Fight away the cares, the addictions, the things that present themselves as a “Soul Filler”.Its time to lay our hearts before his feet with the hope of souls that burn for him anew…

  4. This is indeed true regarding our commitment to the Lord. I am with the help of the Holy Spirit writting a book to be called “Christ solution focus approach”. This book is about putting Christ first in all that we do. By definition “it is the concious effort of the church to focus on the cross of Christ without fear or shame as the main source of our solutions”. the sooner we learn to put Him at the top of the scale of preference life will be full of solutions. Just like in the book of Daniel the first time you ever will pray your voice will be heard in heaven. May He help us understand the word.
