Jesus defeated death
Jesus’ earthly resurrection was not intended to be just the first resurrection, but the first in a line of future resurrections. His resurrection guarantees the final resurrection of all who believe. It says that the one thing between you and me and forever — death — has been defeated, giving back the hope of forever to all who have placed their trust in Jesus. Jesus defeated death, and so will you if you are his child.
