Sons coming to their birthright
When we ‘inherit’ the kingdom we shall enter it not as strangers or as foreigners, but as sons coming to their birthright.
Looking over all its streets of gold and surveying all its walls of pearl we shall feel that we are at home in our own house, and have an actual right—not through merit but through Divine Grace—to everything that is there.
It will be a state of heavenly bliss; the Christian shall feel that law and nd justice are on his side and that those stern attributes have brought him there as well as mercy and loving kindness.
